Faherty joined Fischetti & Malgieri LLP in 2013 as a legal intern, providing assistance for various cases involving gambling offenses, healthcare fraud, and immigration fraud. In August 2014, she served as law clerk to the firm, until December 2014 when she became an Associate Attorney.

Ms. Faherty earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2014, graduating with honors from Seton Hall University School of Law. During her time at Seton Hall, she served as the school’s Student Bar Association President, as well as President of the Dispute Resolution Society. She received several honors while in school, including the Community Service award and upon commencement, the Mary K. Franzese Humanitarian Achievement Award.

Ms. Faherty brings to the firm three years of law school clinical experience in both Federal and regulatory forums. She has appeared before Magistrate Judges and mediators in the Southern District of New York, serving as student advocate to otherwise pro se plaintiffs for settlement purposes. Additionally, she represented indigent NJ investors for purposes of their FINRA arbitrations. Her experience includes employment discrimination, disability-based housing discrimination, the religious rights of an incarcerated individual, and securities litigation.

During her 2L year, she interned for the Honorable Ester Salas, District of New Jersey, and the Honorable Jack B. Weinstein, Eastern District of New York.
